In this class explore complementary colour schemes of master artworks, as inspiration to make personal and intentional colour choices for landscape paintings.
Analyse examples of masterworks that effectively use complementary colours.
Mixing complementary colour pairs (e.g., blue/orange, red/green, yellow/purple).
Create small scale landscape paintings using vibrant contrasts and neutral tones.

watercolour paints; a range of brushes, watercolour large and small round and 1/2” flat sizes, 1” bristle brush; cold-press watercolour paper; mixed-media sketchbook; gum arabic; ceramic palette - white soya dishes or plates; three glass jam-jars; pencil HB and eraser
