I feel very fortunate to have met Katharine and to have been lucky enough to participate in so many inspiring and creative curricula. She is a truly thoughtful teacher. Her emphasis on finding ways to open up concepts of colour and composition through her own work. There are plentiful demonstrations, as well as sharing examples of master artists work to stimulate the process, taking landscape painting to a place that is full of energy and creativity. Her courses have really inspired my practice and I will be forever grateful for these perspectives.

Just wanted to let you know how much I enjoyed the Winter Trees classes. You present such interesting content and teach in such an informative but relaxed style - mark of someone who is absolutely at home with their craft. I could happily repeat the classes I find them just so helpful.
